Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe hails from America and is a country-music singer/songwriter. Ashley Monroe formed a group called Pistol Annies, with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, before releasing her second album named Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe Performing with Blake Shelton In 2015 she came out with The Blade, another album which earned her fame and accolades. Ashley Monroe holds a position as Assistant Village manager for Riverside Illinois. She has fifteen years' experience working within the public sector including nearly five-year time in Iowa City. In her position as the Assistant Village Director she is responsible for managing the Community Development and Building Department. The department is responsible for coordinating the grant application process and also completing specific projects. Ashley assists in the everyday running of Riverside's services as well as implementing the community's elected officials' visions. Ashley's responsibilities include planning for municipal services, budgeting management of personnel and collective bargaining. Ashley also focuses on the climate issues. Due to her engagement in national organizations and work in communities that have populations of varying sizes, Ashley has gained an understanding of the many complexities and differences in how public organizations function. Ashley's education focuses on the latest methods of leadership and management within the public sector, from a perspective of an experienced professional. Alongside providing the context for present and future professionals Ashley focuses on the necessity of adapting today's strategic and ethical decision-making for addressing the challenges ahead and make use of opportunities.
